Thanks to a joint effort with the Municipality of Osa, the donation of school supplies to 500 low-income children was achieved. This initiative benefited 15 educational centers in the Osa community, such as: Vanegas, Potreros and Alto Laguna. In addition, it was possible to visit 2 schools in the community of Buenos Aires: Vergel and Caña Blanca, within which there is an indigenous population of the area.
At BMI Costa Rica, Social Responsibility is key
The directors, teachers and parents of the beneficiary students thanked this great contribution for this beginning of the 2022 school year, and for their part the boys and girls were very happy with the donations.
This initiative to donate school supplies is part of the social welfare projects carried out by BMI Costa Rica, and it is not the first time that we have visited and collaborated with the canton of Osa, since in 2020 we delivered food to the affected families. for the pandemic.
All of us who are part of the BMI Costa Rica team are very grateful for the opportunity to contribute a grain of sand for the social development and education of children in our country.
